NASA, SpaceX are Go for another Try if Weather Permitting

NASA and SpaceX have cleared the Demo-2 mission for Saturday’s launch attempt, scheduled for 3:22 p.m. EDT. Mission managers now have to take weather into account; the forecast shows a strong possibility weather conditions won’t allow a launch. Bad weather scrubbed Wednesday’s attempt to launch the mission, the first launch of astronauts on an American rocket from American soil since the last space shuttle mission in 2011. „I think our teams worked together in a really impressive way, making good decisions all along,“ NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine said after the scrub was announced.

3:22 p.m. – Liftoff
4:09 p.m. – Crew Dragon phase burn
4:55 p.m. – Far-field manual flight test
5:55 p.m. – Astronaut downlink event from Crew Dragon
6:30 p.m. – Postlaunch news conference at Kennedy Administrator Bridenstine
